The Business Ombudsman shall be independent in exercising his/her powers. Any exertion of influence on, or interference in, the activities of the Business Ombudsman shall be prohibited. 2. The Business Ombudsman shall, in the process of his/her activities, comply with the principles of justice, objectivity, impartiality and legality. The Governor’s Office of Business Ombudsman was established by the General Assembly (House Bill 1118) and signed into law on May 15, 2014.
